John passed away on January 24, 2001, after a 10 year disability.... he was survived by his wife, Anne Malone Perry and his two sons, Brian and Kevin.

John had a bacterial infection which caused a stroke in June 1992, he passed away on January 24, 2001. He had 2 sons, Brian and Kevin.
