Chuck Regeski was my very first friend in California. He and I had both moved to Redlands just prior to our Sophomore year. We met at CYA Sacred Heart and became fast friends having so much in common. Looking back, I'd say he had his priorities in life right even as a high school boy: God first, Family, then Friends. He was a lot of fun and a loyal guy. We lost touch over the years but I heard he married Viki and had a son. I was so happy for him! Back in the day, when we'd hear that song by James Taylor, "You've Got A Friend" we'd always point to each other and smile. I thought of him each time I'd hear that song even all these decades later. I always held him in high esteem and always will. I was shocked this past weekend to stumble upon the information he died in 2003. What happened? Does anyone else know? Love you, Chuck.
