Cambria , California - Gayle Ann Losee Sewell born September 3, 1954 in Merced Ca. to Edgar and Bonnie Losee. Gayle passed away peacefully March 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Gayle was proceeded In death by her Mother Bonnie and Brother Bud Lose. Gayle is survived by her Father Edgar Losee, Step-mother Bettie Losee, Sisters: Lyn Losee Flood, Carolyn Losee Knotts, Step-Family: Kristy Coberly, Lisa Brown and Kirk Platz. Gayle had 2 Step Daughters: Elizabeth Sewell and Melanie Sewell and a Step-Son : Scott Sewell. Gayle had 2 Brother in Laws: Steve Flood and Randy Knotts and Sister in Law Renee Losee. Gayle had 1 Nephew, Andrew and 5 Nieces: Christina, Jessica, Jaime, Krystal and Kaila. Gayle had two beautiful Granddaughter's and a Grandson.
Gayle was active in the community with her Art Gallery which she ran for 22 years under the name of Chambers Gallery. Growing up in Southern California, Gayle had a love for the Sea as well a love for the arts. Gayle never thought of herself as an artist, however she did amazing art work. Gayle loved dabbling in her weekly clay class. Gayle was a Chamber member for many years and always willing to participate in local fund raisers to help the community. She enjoyed participating in the Scarecrow festival, her Scarecrow was named Edgar Allen Crow.
